Ah yes. Who knew a LiveJournal would be so useful? So many people who will surely understand. My name is Kosaburou, and I'm a very minor character on Pokemon. Not the dubbed version. The original Japanese version. I jumped dimensions with Yamato before the show disintegrated. Why are so many of us Soul Bonders here, on earth? How do we get here? Those questions are nearly as futile as asking the universe what the meaning of life is. Still, it is good to see others here. LJ Cut--click to read moreCollapse )

Noticing that many people in the fandom have muses or soulbonds of the characters, I've created a community for "Back to the Future" fans and their headmates. All characters, viewpoints, and fans are welcome. Feel free to come introduce yourself at

...Or Ourselves, should I say?

I am the Fredd,  and I am the dominant personality governing this humanoid.  I am an android of extraterrestrial origin (If anyone mentions Optimus Prime I'll scream.)   I am actually pretty damn good looking (laaay-deeees?) albeit I inhabit the body of a fat kid with a bowl-cut.  Which is less than sexy.  In all honesty,  if there is a word meaning the antithesis of sexy, a word that, just uttering it would render you asexual for life,  it would probably be Fredd.  (If you don't believe me think of this: which sounds more natural, Fredd The Great Lover, or Fredd, that fat kid who fixed my laptop, or Fredd, who happens to be fluent in Klingon?)

Anyway.  There are anywhere between 30 and 50 ish personalities who come and go like... um... Our shared human and free tapioca.  AKA, alot.
So besides me, there is Felix the emo kid, Manfred the Crossdresser, and our Beloved Angst man.  We are all governed by the Lord Teloian,  whom is a tall omnious creature who rarely takes control, but is usually present with biting sarcasm.  He scares me.

I hope we will be understood.  It sucks beings alone.

(That fat kid who fixed my laptop....  and is fluent in Klingon.)

I had a thought the other day, not terribly important, but I wondered if someone else had pondered this as well. I'm a believer in the infinate multiverse theory, where everything that can happen somewhere and to anyone is actually happening in some other dimension, some that are impossible for us to understand. I even got to the point of understanding that the difference between one dimension and the other could be a single word. Anyway, considering the relationship between myself and my soulbond, I got to wondering if there was some dimension where we were in a completely different situation, like we hated each other, or we were with different people, or some other unpleasant outcome. Kinda made me feel uneasy, and I was just curious if anyone else had the same thought.

I'm one of the few who find intro posts fun. ^.=.^; Well to be short and sweet, I found this community just yesterday and thought that the things talked about here fit my situation pretty well. I just recently became aware that I'm soulbonded to Ichigo Kurosaki, and have been dieing to find others in a similar boat to talk to. I just convinced my boyfriend that I won't ignore him in favor of Ichigo, but it's not as if I can ignore him completely either. He's apart of me, and a person as well (though most people don't think so). I hope that I can find a sort of balance between him and everything else. Otherwise, he's a pretty good companion to have, while a bit of a smart-ass sometimes but we all have our moments. Right now we're trying to learn how to front, and we've gotten the basic idea down but it's harder than it seems. Any suggestions?

Just got a new book and I'd recommend it, even thought I'm not done reading it yet. Its called "A Field Guide to Otherkin" by Lupa and she does mention Soulbonding (otherwise known as MediaKin) in it. It explores theories on why this happens, what it may mean, and the forms of Otherkin that are out there, among other things. She includes Bonding in as a form of Otherkin.

Here is a link to the book on Amazon:

---would find this as hilarious as I did.

Particularly after a fourteen-hour-straight coding stretch AFTER a four-hour radio show and STILL it's dawn and so much to do... I love the visions, really I do, wrap me up a chainsaw without a safety bar, some stilts and some sandals for Christmas this year and I'll just have EVERYTHING I need...

So...cartoon network showed this movie called 'Reanimated.' Its about a boy who had a brain transplant (okay, really far fetched and absurd, but--), receiving the brain of a Walk Disney-like person. After the transplant, the kid (who's name I've conveniently forgot) starts seeing and talking to a variety of cartoon characters, like the brain's original owner did.

Since the whole thing with the cartoon characters reminded me of Soulbonding, I was curious if anyone else had any thoughts. I sorta liked it myself ^^

spiritpersonals - Personal ads by and for Plurals and Soulbonds

Are you reluctant to talk to people because you're afraid they will reject you once they find out that you're not "real" like them?
Looking for friends from whom you don't have to hide the fact that you're not entirely human, or come from a world different from this one?
Searching for a lover who isn't put off by the fact that there's books about your life?
Then come on over!

spiritpersonals is a place for Soulbonds, Multiples, Headvoices and others who fall in the general category of persons who don't have their own bodies to meet, make friends and maybe even start relationships with those who are able to look beyond the merely physical. Here, you don't have to hide who you are or where you come from. So put aside your worries and doubts and put up a personal. Or, if that's not really down your lane, how about shouting out about your favourite book/movie/TV show/hobby? There's got to be people out there who love it, too, so what's keeping you?
Remember, it's all about social networking!

(x-posted, sorry if you have to read this more than once!)

Lets see, it is thanks to the soul-fantasy/Twisted Worlds community that I realised a certain way of perceiving an individual's relationship with a fictional character.

Of course, just by writing this I would probably attract the usual accusations (which I don't need to elaborate upon) from "normal" society, but yet is it not truth that at various points of our lives we adopt influences from impersonal sources both external and not? For instance...

- Youthful ambitions, wanting to grow up like someone you admire
- Careerism, studying another's working/learning style to follow a success story
- Or simply having TV/movie/pop idols that you identify with for various reasons.

The concept of soulbonding (SBing) is no different than the above. click to readCollapse )
